The Internal Switching Mechanism May Fail To Make Proper Contact And Provide Electrical Continuity When The Breakaway Pin Is Pulled. This Condition May Result In No Electrical Power To The Trailer Brakes In The Event Of A Trailer Breakaway Situation And Could Occur Without Warning.

These Adapters Are Used As Aftermarket Equipment On Model Year 2013 Dodge Ram 1500 Vehicles. If The Brakes Are Applied While The Turn Signal Is Activated, The Turn Signal May Turn Off. The Opposite Trailer Turn Signal May Then Activate.
