The Air Brake Systems Containing The DefeCTIve Pipe Fitting Were Sold As Original Equipment For Use On Various Trucks And Trailers And Also Sold As A Replacement Part.  During Manufacture, Some Of The Pipe Fittings Were Drilled Too Deep, Resulting In A Thin Wall In The Male Pipe Thread.
