The Heater For The Positive Crankcase Ventilation (Pcv) Valve May Short Circuit.<\/p><h2 class=\"has-Medium-font-size wp-block-heading\">Make Of Vehicle<\/h2><p>BMW<\/p><h2 class=\"has-Medium-font-size wp-block-heading\">Model Of Vehicle<\/h2><p>530I<\/p><h2 class=\"has-Medium-font-size wp-block-heading\">Year<\/h2><p>2006<\/p><h2 class=\"has-Medium-font-size wp-block-heading\">Recall Campaign Number<\/h2><p>19V273000<\/p><h2 class=\"has-Medium-font-size wp-block-heading\">Component Description<\/h2><p>Engine And Engine Cooling:Exhaust System:Emission Control:Crankcase (Pcv)<\/p><h2 class=\"has-Medium-font-size wp-block-heading\">Effect Of Defect<\/h2><p>An Electrical Short Can Cause The Parts Within The Pcv Valve To Melt, Increasing The Risk Of A Fire, Even When The Vehicle Is Not In Use.  <\/p><h2 class=\"has-Medium-font-size wp-block-heading\">Fix Defect<\/h2><p>BMW Will Notify Owners, And Dealers Will Replace The Pcv Valve Heater, Free Of Charge.  The Recall Began May 30, 2019.  Owners May Contact BMW Customer Service At 1-800-525-7417.
