The Msqr 5000 Does Not Contain The Requisite Warning Light Which Fails To Conform To The Requirements Of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard No. 121, &#8220;Air Brake Systems.&#8221;  <\/p><h2 class=\"has-Medium-font-size wp-block-heading\">Make Of Vehicle<\/h2><p>PITTS TRAILERS<\/p><h2 class=\"has-Medium-font-size wp-block-heading\">Model Of Vehicle<\/h2><p>LT<\/p><h2 class=\"has-Medium-font-size wp-block-heading\">Year<\/h2><p>2008<\/p><h2 class=\"has-Medium-font-size wp-block-heading\">Recall Campaign Number<\/h2><p>11V014000<\/p><h2 class=\"has-Medium-font-size wp-block-heading\">Component Description<\/h2><p>Service Brakes, Air:Antilock:Abs Warning Light<\/p><h2 class=\"has-Medium-font-size wp-block-heading\">Effect Of Defect<\/h2><p>The Purpose Of The Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (Fmvss) For Air Brake Systems, No. 121, Is To Insure Safe Braking Performance Under Normal And Emergency Conditions.  The Msqr 5000, Which Was Installed In The Trailers Subject To The Recall To Satisfy Fmvss No. 121&#8217;S Abs Requirements, Does Not Meet The Definition Of An Abs As Required By Fmvss No. 121. Also, The Trailers Do Not Have A Light To Warn The Operator Of An Abs MalfunCTIon As Required By Fmvss No. 121.  Pitts Has Received No Complaints Or Reports Of Any Onroad Failures Associated With This Noncompliance. <\/p><h2 class=\"has-Medium-font-size wp-block-heading\">Fix Defect<\/h2><p>Pitts Enterprises Will Notify Owners And Dealers Will Replace The Msqr 5000 System With A Compliant System Free Of Charge.  The Safety Recall Began On August 5, 2011.
