The Engine Could Stall And Be Difficult To Restart Because The Wire Terminals In The Fuel Pump Wire Coupler Have Corroded. If This Corrosion Affects Fuel Pump Operation While The Scooter Is Being Ridden, There Could Be A Crash Resulting In Injury Or Death.<\/p><h2 class=\"has-Medium-font-size wp-block-heading\">Fix Defect<\/h2><p>Dealers Will Install A Sub-Harness Which Is Designed To Allow Any Water Between The Wire Harness And The Fuel Pump To Drain Out Before It Reaches The Fuel Pump.  The Dealer Will Also Inspect The Connectors.  If Either The Main Wire Harness Connector Or The Fuel Pump Connectors Is Already Corroded, The Corresponding Assembly(Ies) Will Also Be Replaced.  The Recall Began On May 9, 2008.
