What NHTSA investigated

The subject motorcycle is an extremely low-volume production model in a hardtail (i.e., no rear suspension) configuration.reports indicate brackets securing the rear fender/seat assembly separated from the frame.the assembly then collapsed onto the rear tire.on january 16, 2002, big dog motorcycles, LLC notified odi that it was recalling the subject vehicles for this problem.
