What the defect is
Certain fifth wheel trailers fail to comply with the requirements of part 567, "certification." the federal certification tag was printed with an incorrect tire value of 80 PSI and the correct tire pressure value is 65 psi.
What could happen
Driving with over-inflated tires can cause or contribute to premature tire failure that could result in a loss of control of the vehicle, increasing the risk of a crash.
What gets fixed
OWNERS WILL BE PROVIDED WITH NEW FEDERAL CERTIFICATION TAG INFORMATION ALONG WITH INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS. AT THE CUSTOMER'S OPTION, A DEALER CAN PERFORM THE INSTALLATION FOR THEM FREE OF CHARGE. THE RECALL BEGAN ON JANUARY 12, 2007.

Your rights
A safety recall repair is free. Under US federal law the manufacturer must fix a safety defect at no cost to you — no charge for parts, labor or diagnosis — whether or not you are the original owner. A dealer cannot charge you for recall work, and cannot require you to have bought the vehicle from them.
That entitlement is not unlimited. It applies where the vehicle was first sold less than 15 years before the recall was announced — 5 years for tires. Past that a manufacturer may still do the repair free of charge, and many do, but they are no longer obliged to. This recall was reported on 30 November 2006.
