What the defect is
Drv suites (drv), formerly doubletree RV, is recalling certain model year 2008 and 2010-2011 select, mobile, and elite suite recreational vehicles manufactured from june 12,2007, through october 27,2010 and equipped with disc brakes. Due to the paint applied to the aluminum wheel and hub face, the wheel may become loose.
What could happen
This situation can result in the wheel/rim moving, shearing of the wheel studs and the wheel coming off of vehicle, increasing the risk of a crash.
What gets fixed
DRV WILL NOTIFY OWNERS, AND DEALERS WILL REMOVE THE PAINT FROM THE HUB FACE AND THE BACK OF THE WHEELS FREE OF CHARGE. THE SAFETY RECALL BEGAN ON MARCH 5, 2012.

Your rights
A safety recall repair is free. Under US federal law the manufacturer must fix a safety defect at no cost to you — no charge for parts, labor or diagnosis — whether or not you are the original owner. A dealer cannot charge you for recall work, and cannot require you to have bought the vehicle from them.
That entitlement is not unlimited. It applies where the vehicle was first sold less than 15 years before the recall was announced — 5 years for tires. Past that a manufacturer may still do the repair free of charge, and many do, but they are no longer obliged to. This recall was reported on 30 January 2012.
