What the defect is
Keystone RV Company (Keystone) is recalling certain model 2013 Springdale 266RLSSR and 267BHSSR Travel Trailers, manufactured from November 19, 2012, through February 5, 2013. These vehicles were manufactured with the incorrect information on the Federal Identification Tag and Tire and Loading Information Label. The tire inflation pressure is incorrectly listed as 448 KPA (65 PSI) instead of 345 KPA (50 PSI). Thus, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard No. 120, "Tire Selection and Rims for Motor Vehicles Other Than Passenger Cars."
What could happen
Owners relying on the information contained on the label may overinflate the tires, which may result in sudden tire failure, which may increase the risk of a crash.
What gets fixed
Keystone will notify owners and provide corrected labels. The recall began on February 27, 2013.

Your rights
A safety recall repair is free. Under US federal law the manufacturer must fix a safety defect at no cost to you — no charge for parts, labor or diagnosis — whether or not you are the original owner. A dealer cannot charge you for recall work, and cannot require you to have bought the vehicle from them.
That entitlement is not unlimited. It applies where the vehicle was first sold less than 15 years before the recall was announced — 5 years for tires. Past that a manufacturer may still do the repair free of charge, and many do, but they are no longer obliged to. This recall was reported on 15 February 2013.
