What the defect is
Heartland Recreational Vehicles, LLC (Heartland) is recalling certain model year 2016 Torque T27, T28, T29, and T33 travel trailers manufactured May 11, 2015, to May 29, 2015. The affected trailers have Federal Certification labels that may be missing the gross axle weight rating (GAWR) information. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of 49 CFR Part 567, "Certification."
What could happen
The vehicle operator may unintentionally overload the trailer due to the missing GAWR information, increasing the risk of a vehicle crash.
What gets fixed
Heartland will notify owners, and dealers will replace the incorrect certification label with a corrected label, free of charge. The recall began on July 29, 2015.

Your rights
A safety recall repair is free. Under US federal law the manufacturer must fix a safety defect at no cost to you — no charge for parts, labor or diagnosis — whether or not you are the original owner. A dealer cannot charge you for recall work, and cannot require you to have bought the vehicle from them.
That entitlement is not unlimited. It applies where the vehicle was first sold less than 15 years before the recall was announced — 5 years for tires. Past that a manufacturer may still do the repair free of charge, and many do, but they are no longer obliged to. This recall was reported on 16 June 2015.
