What the defect is
REV Recreation Group (REV) is recalling certain 2009-2010 and 2012-2014 Holiday Rambler Ambassador, 2010 and 2013-2014 Endeavor, 2009-2010 Neptune, 2010 Scepter, and 2011 Trip diesel motorhomes, equipped with Kidde Plastic-Handle or Push Button 'Pindicator' Fire Extinguishers. These extinguishers may become clogged, preventing the extinguisher from discharging as expected or excessive force may be needed to activate the extinguisher. Additionally, in certain models, the nozzle may detach from the valve assembly with enough force that it could cause injury and also render the product inoperable. What could happen
In the event of a fire, if the fire extinguisher does not function properly, it can increase the risk of injury.
What gets fixed
REV will notify owners, and instruct them to contact Kidde for a replacement fire extinguisher, free of charge. The recall is expected to begin January 18, 2018.

Your rights
A safety recall repair is free. Under US federal law the manufacturer must fix a safety defect at no cost to you — no charge for parts, labor or diagnosis — whether or not you are the original owner. A dealer cannot charge you for recall work, and cannot require you to have bought the vehicle from them.
That entitlement is not unlimited. It applies where the vehicle was first sold less than 15 years before the recall was announced — 5 years for tires. Past that a manufacturer may still do the repair free of charge, and many do, but they are no longer obliged to. This recall was reported on 17 November 2017.
