What the defect is
Par Nado Inc (Par Nado) is recalling certain 2019-2020 Alto F2114 and F1743 travel trailers equipped with certain Dometic PI8022 2-burner LPG cooktops. The aluminum burner tubes that connect to the gas valves may crack and cause a gas leak.
What could happen
A gas leak in the presence of an ignition source can increase the risk of a fire.
What gets fixed
Owners are advised to not operate cooktop and to turn off the gas supply at the propane tank. Dealers will install a support bracket on the supply line. Dealers will inspect and replace the cooktop as necessary. All repairs will be performed free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed March 9, 2026.

Your rights
A safety recall repair is free. Under US federal law the manufacturer must fix a safety defect at no cost to you — no charge for parts, labor or diagnosis — whether or not you are the original owner. A dealer cannot charge you for recall work, and cannot require you to have bought the vehicle from them.
That entitlement is not unlimited. It applies where the vehicle was first sold less than 15 years before the recall was announced — 5 years for tires. Past that a manufacturer may still do the repair free of charge, and many do, but they are no longer obliged to. This recall was reported on 31 October 2025.
