What the defect is
Foretravel, Inc. (Foretravel) is recalling certain 2020-2022 Realm and 2022 Realm 450 vehicles. The pedestal mounting plate may have been improperly welded, causing the plate to separate and the seat assembly to loosen or detach. As such, these seat assemblies fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) numbers 207, "Seating Systems" and 210, "Seat Belt Assembly Anchorages."
What could happen
A loose or detached seat assembly may not restrain the occupant as intended, increasing the risk of injury during a crash.
What gets fixed
Dealers will inspect for a missing weld and replace the pedestal seat as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed December 15, 2025.

Your rights
A safety recall repair is free. Under US federal law the manufacturer must fix a safety defect at no cost to you — no charge for parts, labor or diagnosis — whether or not you are the original owner. A dealer cannot charge you for recall work, and cannot require you to have bought the vehicle from them.
That entitlement is not unlimited. It applies where the vehicle was first sold less than 15 years before the recall was announced — 5 years for tires. Past that a manufacturer may still do the repair free of charge, and many do, but they are no longer obliged to. This recall was reported on 24 November 2025.
