What the defect is
Ducati North America (Ducati) is recalling certain 2025 Panigale V2 and 2025-2026 Ducati Streetfighter V2 motorcycles. The fuses for the ABS pump and control unit may have been reversed during assembly, which can cause an ABS malfunction and possibly result in wheel lockup.
What could happen
Front or rear wheel lockup can cause a loss of motorcycle control, increasing the risk of a crash or injury.
What gets fixed
Dealers will inspect the fuses and fuse holders, and repair them as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed January 30, 2026.

A safety recall repair is free. Under US federal law the manufacturer must fix a safety defect at no cost to you — no charge for parts, labor or diagnosis — whether or not you are the original owner. That entitlement is not unlimited. It applies where the vehicle was first sold less than 15 years before the recall was announced — 5 years for tires. Past that a manufacturer may still do the repair free of charge, and many do, but they are no longer obliged to. This recall was reported on 5 December 2025.
