What the defect is

Terminal Investment Corporation (TICO) is recalling certain 2018-2026 Pro Spotter Tandem tractors. The track rod mounting bracket for the forward rear axle, of the tandem axles set may crack and break, which can result in track rod detachment.

What could happen

Track rod detachment can cause a loss of vehicle steering control and increase the risk of a crash.

What gets fixed

Dealers will inspect and replace the track rod mounting bracket as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed May 22, 2026.

Your rights

A safety recall repair is free. Under US federal law the manufacturer must fix a safety defect at no cost to you — no charge for parts, labor or diagnosis — whether or not you are the original owner.
