What the defect is
Terex South Dakota, Inc. (Terex) is recalling certain 2025 TL-Series, LT-Series, LTM40, HR40, HR46, and SCM55 areal device vehicles. The control valve may have been assembled with an incorrect plug, causing the hydraulic equipment to overheat.
What could happen
Touching parts of the overheated hydraulic equipment can increase the risk of burn injuries.
What gets fixed
Dealers will inspect and repair the control valve as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed January 23, 2026.

A safety recall repair is free. Under US federal law the manufacturer must fix a safety defect at no cost to you — no charge for parts, labor or diagnosis — whether or not you are the original owner.
