Defect Description For Recall
On Certain Trucks, The Positive Battery Cables That Supply Power From The Batteries To The Starter May Be Routed Near The Engine’S Exhaust Manifold. The Excess Heat Generated By The Manifold Can Cause The Cable’S Insulation To Melt, Exposing Bare Wire.
