Defect Description For Recall
On Certain Trucks, The Retention System Of The Pin That Attaches The Hood Travel Limiting Shock To The Mounting Bracket On Top Of The Radiator May Become Disabled Due To Interference Between It And The Grab Handle Pocket Of The Hood. This Could Allow The Pin To Work Out Of The ConneCTIon Resulting In The Hood Separating From The Shock.
