Defect Description For Recall
Certain Two-Seat, Two-Door Coupe Model Passenger Vehicles Fail To Comply With The Requirements Of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard No. 225, “Child Restraint Anchorage Systems.” These Vehicles Were Not Equipped With A Top Tether Anchorage As Required By The Standard. Owners Who Wish To Use A Child Restraint With The Air Bag DeActivation Device Requiring A Top Tether In The Front Passenger Seat Cannot Correctly Install The Seat Due To The Lack Of The Top Tether Anchorage.
