A Continuously Fully Loaded Vehicle That Has To Maneuver In Tight Space Frequently Can Develop Stress Cracks At The Steering Gear Box Support. A Loss Of Control Could Occur, Increasing The Risk Of A Crash.
Fix Defect
Dealers Will Add A Reinforcement To The Steering Support. Owner Notification Began October 5, 2001. Owners Who Take Their Vehicles To An Authorized Dealer On An Agreed Upon Service Date And Do Not Receive The Free Remedy Within A Reasonable Time Should Contact Prevost At 418-831-5432.
