What the defect is
Starcraft RV, Inc. (Starcraft) is recalling certain model year 2014 16BH AR-ONE trailers manufactured between June 3, 2013, through September 30, 2013. The vehicles were built with tires of a lower load range than the Gross Vehicle Weight Rating requires.
What could happen
If the trailer is loaded to the gross vehicle weight rating that is listed on the label for the higher capacity tires, the tires may suddenly fail increasing the risk of a crash.
What gets fixed
Starcraft RV will notify owners and dealers will replace the tires and the spare tire with new ST175.80R13D tires and issue a correct tire label, free of charge. The recall began on January 8, 2014.

Your rights
A safety recall repair is free. Under US federal law the manufacturer must fix a safety defect at no cost to you — no charge for parts, labor or diagnosis — whether or not you are the original owner. A dealer cannot charge you for recall work, and cannot require you to have bought the vehicle from them.
That entitlement is not unlimited. It applies where the vehicle was first sold less than 15 years before the recall was announced — 5 years for tires. Past that a manufacturer may still do the repair free of charge, and many do, but they are no longer obliged to. This recall was reported on 3 December 2013.
