The Total Number Of Vehicles Being Recalled Is Now 1,375,217. Due To Tension From The Combination Switch Wiring Harness, Wear On The Surface Of The Electrical Terminal Can Occur, Yielding Copper Oxide, Which Increases Electrical Resistance. Increased Electrical Resistance May Cause The Terminal Ends To Melt Within The Wiring Harness Connector.

These Vehicles Were Equipped With Non-Azide Driver Air Bag Inflators (Nadi) And Do Not Contain Phase Stabilized AmmoniUM Nitrate (Psan) Propellant. Due To A Manufacturing Issue, The Nadi Inflators May Absorb Moisture, Causing The Inflators To Rupture Or The Air Bag Cushion To Underinflate.
