Defect Description For Recall

Dorman Products, Inc. (Dorman) Is Recalling Certain Aftermarket Power Window Switches, Dorman-Brand Part Numbers 901-601 And 901-370, And Solutions-Brand Part Numbers 730-7444-1 And 730-7630-1. When The Switch Has Been Activated To Raise The Window, If Something, Such As A Finger, Is Between The Window Glass And The Window Frame, The Switch Will Not Auto-Reverse To Prevent An Injury. As Such, These Vehicles Fail To Comply With The Requirements Of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (Fmvss) Number 118, “Power-Operated Window Systems.”
