The Clamp Was Improperly Heat-Treated And May Be Deformed Or Fractured. Insecure ClaMPIng Can Cause Wear And Progressive Looseness, Which If Not Detected Or Not Promptly Repaired Could Progress Until Serrations Of Shaft And/Or Internal Spline Teeth Of Coupling Become Stripped.
