The Affected Vehicles Are Equipped With An Sr-7 Spring Brake Valve Assembly That May Have Had The Primary And Secondary Service Brake Applications Installed In Reverse. In The Event Of A Failure In The Primary Or Secondary Circuit, The Redundant Circuit Would Not Provide Adequate Service Brake FunCTIonality. As Such, These Vehicles Fail To Comply With The Requirements Of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (Fmvss) No. 121, “Air Brake Systems.”

In Extremely Cold Conditions, These Bendix Relay Valves May Potentially Develop Internal Leakage. Internal Leakage Can Lead To Air Pressure Being Delivered To Affected Primary Or Secondary Brake Causing Continuous Brake Application.
