The Brake Caliper Bolts On These Axles May Not Be Properly Torqued Which Can Allow The Caliper To Detach From The Mounting Flange. As Such, These Vehicles Fail To Comply With The Requirements Of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (Fmvss) Number 121, “Air Brake Systems.”

The Hole At The Bottom Causes A Stress Crack In The Tension Side Of The Beam Resulting In Axle Failure.
