The Programming Of The Instrument Panel Is Such That If Multiple Error Messages Are Received By The Instrument Panel From The Vehicle Powertrain, The Øcheck Engineø And/Or Østop Engineø Indicator Lamps On The Dash May Not Illuminate And The Engine May Enter A Safety Or Shutdown Mode Of Operation.

In The Affected Racks, Cracks May Develop Where The Latch Tube Is Welded To The Pivot Tabs Connected To The Frame. Over Time, The Cracks May Lead To Separation Of The Latch Tube And Latch Handle.
